Distinguished Faculty Nomination and Application Process

New Distinguished Faculty

New Distinguished Faculty will be announced/recognized at the Annual Meeting Opening General Session in San Antonio, Monday, October 24, 2016. 

Candidates must be nominated by an SRA International member in good standing (i.e., current in dues as either a full or retired member). Self-nominations will not be accepted. 

The nominator must submit the electronic nomination form and include the following 

  • A current CV of the candidate.

  • A minimum of two (2) reference letters, one of which must also be from an SRA International member in good standing. Up to four (4) letters can be submitted overall per candidate, however, if three or four letters are submitted, two (2) of them must be from SRA International members in good standing. 

  • OPTIONAL: Candidate may include (to be submitted by nominator) a one page cover letter indicating how and why they are deserving of Distinguished Faculty status based on the qualifications listed.

Please note: To ensure a successful application, please ensure that all letters of support speak directly to the qualifications listed on the Distinguished Faculty Page.

Notification

Candidates will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance in writing from SRA International. Individuals who do not achieve new Distinguished Faculty status may be re-nominated in future years without limit.
