Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii’s way of saying, "Merry Christmas!" From the Presidents of the Western and Northeast Sections, we wish you Happy Holidays and best wishes for 2017. We are definitely hard at work on our list as we prepare for Hawaii and checking it twice.
Registration: Registration is open!!! Please Click Here to go to registration page. Early bird registration will expire on February 23, 2017, so please plan accordingly.
Hotel Rooms: We hear that the rooms are filling up quickly. Please be sure to book your rooms as soon as possible. Click here for hotel rooms.
Program: We had an impressive group of proposal submissions! With almost 100 submissions, our track chairs have been working at full speed to get topics reviewed, scored, and recommended for the program in April. Speakers should be notified by the end of December so that they can make their final plans. We sincerely appreciate those of you who submitted proposals and our track chairs.
Logo: We revamped our logo a bit after some feedback from our planning committee. Anne Schauer and her husband, Alan, created the new logo you see above that will be seen on all correspondence that advertises our meeting from this point forward.
Silent Auction: Traditionally, section meetings have a silent auction to raise funds for travel awards. The silent auctions are a fun activity held at the meeting where you get to bid on items that have been donated by members of SRA, businesses in the area, universities, you name it. Our silent auction committee members have already begun gathering donations. If you have something you would like to donate or questions about donations, please contact a member of the group.
