The European Union's (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) enters into force on May 25, 2018. It is the biggest change to data protection law in a generation. With widened extra-territoriality (extending the reach of EU law beyond the borders of the EU) it will affect not just those within the EU, but potentially organizations worldwide.
This webinar will provide attendees with an understanding of the scope of the new law, including how it will affect non-EU organizations. It will discuss the key concepts of the GDPR, how it governs what organizations can and cannot do with personal data, and what rights EU citizens have under the law. It will also examine the implications of Brexit and what effect this may have.
This webinar is intended for people who work with or may work with, EU citizens' personal data.

- Understand what can and cannot be done with EU citizens’ personal data.
